User Defined Tables in RAMM 6.1
User Defined Tables (UDTs) are RAMM database tables which you have defined yourself so that you can use RAMM to manage your asset and condition data which are not in the standard RAMM Set.
You may be familiar with using them to manage simple assets such bus shelters and rubbish bins. Now they are even more powerful and user configurable.

|You can manage your parks, open spaces and buildings in RAMM. You do this by creating complex UDTs. Before you launch RAMM Manager to create your complex UDTs you need to plan them very carefully. Here is some advice on asset models, asset trees and asset attributes.
Planning Complex UDTs (3:15)
|Best practice is to add UDT asset records in RAMM Detail and RAMM GIS. You add linked assets in RAMM Detail and then their shape files in RAMM GIS. Or add UDT asset shape files first and then complete the asset details and linking. The shapes display in RAMM, RAMM Contractor and Pocket RAMM.
